JP West
Personal Trainer

JP has been involved in fitness training his entire life. He started playing rugby and training in gymnastics at a young age which started his passion for sport and fitness. JP’s favourite sport has always been rugby, playing for his school team, county and taking part in the Dubai 7s tournament. Wanting to improve his strength and conditioning for rugby lead him to fitness and the gym. Since then he’s never looked back. Making fitness his career was the natural progression for JP.

For the past fourteen years, JP has delivered bespoke training plans according to an individual’s needs which integrate indoor and outdoor activities, strength and conditioning, functional training as well as making the individual stronger in their natural environment.

JP has always been extremely dedicated to his personal fitness. After finishing playing rugby, JP started boxing and enjoyed the combination of cardio, strength endurance and the mental challenge of the sport. JP took part in 2 white collar charity fights and then focussed on coaching. He has always sort out various challenges from Crossfit to trial marathons but one of the hardest things he has done is recover from a complete Achilles tendon rupture.

JP believes that with focus, belief and persistence anything can be achieved.

Lucy West
Personal Trainer

Lucy fell in love with sport at an early age. She played in all her school teams whilst growing up and represented her county. She has always been enthusiastic and highly motivated when it came to sports and this drive led her into fitness training.

After finishing her degree in Sports Science she began her career as a fitness instructor and quickly progressed to a Personal Trainer, ultimately becoming a Fitness Manager for one of the leading health clubs in the UK.

Whether it was as a personal trainer or a manager, she has always been able to inspire an individual to achieve their full potential by making them focus on their personal goals and teaching them to have a clear, positive and determined mind set.

With regards to her own fitness programme, Lucy enjoys a combination of cross country running and cross fit training. She also enjoys boxing and strength training and often participates in her own  Bootcamp classes.

Her main areas of interest are weight loss and pre and post-natal. Having had 3 children she has hands on experience of training during and after pregnancy.

Lorraine Spicer

Lorraine is a member of
the Chartered Society of
Physiotherapists and Health
and Care Professions Council.
She graduated in 2007 from The
University of Birmingham with a BSC in Physiotherapy.

She has completed a number of post graduate courses including acupuncture, APPI Pilates Mat Work Level 1 and FitBack & Bumps for pre and post pregnancy exercise.

Lorraine has comprehensive experience in treating all musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. Being a keen runner and cyclist she has a special interest in running and cycling related injuries and understands the importance of the need to get back to full fitness after an injury.

Lorraine has experience working in the both the private sector and NHS which included 2 years working within a rheumatology department treating patients with chronic pain conditions and arthritis alongside specialist consultants.

In all cases she will aim to get to the root cause of the problem and how to try and prevent re-injury via a rehabilitation programme and on-going maintenance routine where possible.
